The Forgotten Church

Before you stands a long deserted church. The white paint that once coated it can clearly be seen peeling off. The inside is relatively well kept, however. Little to no dust can be seen, and four pillars hold it up. There is also a disturbing lack of benches... Anyway, in the center of the church, a broken statue can be seen. From what's left of the statue, it would be safe to assume that it was of some sort of mermaid-like creature.
